we are making eggless whole wheat bread with yeast today the ingredients and quantities are listed in the description box these are whole wheat flour water active dried yeast granulated sugar soft salted butter. if taking unsalted butter add 5 grams of salt as well warm the water. add the sugar and yeast. stir and keep aside for about 15 minutes or till yeast gets activated in the meantime sift the flour and make a well in the center once the yeast is activated pour it in the well and mix in the flour then add as much water as needed to make a soft dough add water little by little till you get a soft sticky dough then knead it till it turns soft and smooth add the soft butter and knead the dough till incorporated the dough is soft and smooth. transfer to a bowl and cover with a damp cloth. let it rest for 1 hour to 1.5 hours till it nearly doubles in volume after 1 hour, in winter this will take more time, the dough has almost doubled in size punch the dough to deflate and knead it again for a few minutes keep the dough for second proving/rest this time for 30 minutes. cover with damp cloth after the second rest, the dough has again risen to almost double. punch again to remove air grease hands & kneading plate with a little oil, punch the dough & shape into a log slightly smaller than the tin which will be used to bake it place it in an oil greased baking tin cover with a damp cloth & let it rest for 30 minutes. keep oven for preheating, 10 minutes before time is up, at 200 deg F for 10 minutes after 30 minutes the dough has risen. brush the top with some milk bake it in a preheated oven at 200 deg F for about 30 minutes or till the top turns golden brown check on the bread after 25 minutes our bread is ready after 30 minutes of baking & has a beautiful brown top. brush the top with some butter to keep it soft then allow the bread to cool down completely the bread has cooled completely. run a knife around the edges to free it & then invert to remove the bread is ready. slice the bread here is our sliced bread. though it is denser than white bread it is still soft and spongy as you can see do try making it our way and share your experience if you like the recipe please share our video & subscribe to our channel so that you are notified whenever we upload a new video. thanks for watching
