Photoshop Curves Tutorial for 3d rendering – Architectural Visualization
Curves Adjustment Layer Color Correction 1. Find the brightest and the darkest parts with the use of a Threshold Adjustment Layer. 2. Slowly move the slider to the right until the black areas appear on the image. 3. To see the brightest areas, slide from right to left. 4. We need another Marker for the gray points. Duplicate the image layer and apply a 50% Grey Fill on it (Shift+F5). 5. Make on top of it a new Threshold Layer. Drag the slider to the right until we start seeing black areas. Try to avoid using a point placed in a shadow because it can change the blue channel. 6. You can delete all the layers except the base image because we only need the three markers. 7. Make a Curves Layer by selecting Layers ->New Adjustment Layer ->Curves 8. Select the White Dropper and click on the first placed Marker. 9. Do the same for the black Dropper and for the Grey located in the middle. You can try using for the Gray Dropper other points and see if it looks better. Thank you!
