Our Toronto Vlog, a Great Travel Vacation Destination for Tourists, Men & Women, Awesome over 50

Hey awesome ones, I’m Heather and I’m Bill. Hey
do you guys like to travel or is more travelling on your wish list. Well
through the power of YouTube we want to do some more travel destinations. And we
do have in the future…we think we might be going to the UK or maybe even one of
those bucket list places in Europe. So stay tuned for that but today what we
want to present…have you ever thought of going to Canada. Canada is a
beautiful country and one of the most beautiful cities there is Toronto. So we
did a vlog on Toronto and some of the things, places that you know about for
tourist destinations and maybe a few you don’t. So it all starts in just a few
seconds. You know when most people think of
Toronto they think of the iconic CN tower. Well it’s one of the modern seven
wonders of the world so I could totally get that. But there’s so much more to
this beautiful city. Did you know that Toronto is located on a beautiful lake
and the weather here is really like New York City. So bring along your t-shirt
and your shorts for the summer months. And this was my birthday cruise last
year. And take a look at that sunset. Absolutely breathtaking. And it’s a great
way to take in the Toronto skyline. There’s the CN Tower and in a minute
you’ll see the Sky Dome. Hey this is a city for major sports
events like basketball, hockey, soccer and baseball. So what would a trip to Toronto
be without going to the CN Tower. So here it is one of the modern wonders of the
world. It really is this way to the top of the world. And so up we go in the
elevator and on this particular trip we decided to dine in the restaurant. And
it’s just fantastic. The food was incredible
and the desserts well they were just like works of art. Incredible and also
the restaurant is revolving so you get a 360 degree view of Toronto. After your meal
don’t forget to go one floor up to the glass floor. It’s a little freaky but hey
you’re at the CN Tower. There’s also a wonderful outdoor lookout point. Wow take a look at
that view. Simply amazing. And if you want something a little
closer to the ground, Toronto is great for theater Broadway plays. And if it’s
been on Broadway it’s probably coming to Toronto.
There’s some beautiful venues of theatres and there’s even ballet and
classical music, opera, beautiful beautiful buildings to take in these
classic sounds. And if you’re looking for a few laughs there’s a lot of comedy
venues and if it’s music you’re looking for well Toronto has it all from top pop
singers to rock and roll bands to everything in between.
Hey I hope you’re enjoying our vlog and you know what? Let’s keep going! I’m getting the feeling now…do
you guys remember the old days when people used to take photographs and then
they’d invite you over to their home and do a slide show? Well I’m hoping your enjoying it a little bit more than
that. Okay all right let’s keep going and if you like to tour cities by riding a
bike there’s lots of rental places to rent a bike. And the waterfront paths
take you right to Lake Ontario. So what would going to a world-class City be
without a little shopping. And right in the heart of Toronto is the famous Eaton
Center. The architecture is absolutely beautiful.
It also boasts some of your favorite stores and even some of your favorite
department stores. Taking a look at this one we do see not only a great
department store but a great place to get a meal. If you do take in the
Nordstrom restaurant, don’t forget to get French press coffee and a dessert.
and talking about food, Toronto has amazing restaurants from
indoor to outdoor patios and everything in between. So there are lots of other
places to take in in Toronto like the St. Lawrence Market that was voted the
best food market in 2012. Hey there’s lots of food here that you can take back to your hotel room and enjoy. Okay we’re gonna have to wind up this
video pretty soon because it’s getting a little bit long, but there’s so much to
taste and enjoy. I think you’re gonna love Toronto. And there you have it. And
now it’s time for the cuteness factor. Make that the cuteness factors. Are you seeing double? This is little Rexie and this is of course little
Hurricane. This is his brother. He’s actually our daughter’s dog. Isn’t he
cute. So you’re not seeing double. We’re gonna hand him back
right now and get going with this video. There you go. Alright and you know when
the cuteness factor comes in it’s time for us to tell you about the upcoming
videos. And we mention Niagara Falls and we are going to Niagara Fall…in a barrel over the
falls….not really. We’re going to talk about Niagara Falls, we’re going to show you
Niagara Falls. And close to it is…….. Niagara on the Lake.
What a beautiful town. It’s just a few minutes away. It’s a town with…oh my gosh….
there’s so much there. There are wineries there are horse and buggy rides. The
theatre. There are several theaters there. And it’s
right along the water. Absolutely beautiful. So we’ll be talking about that.
And what about across the ocean? I know we’re planning that folks. We’re not
too sure where we’re gonna to go yet eh Bill. We’re thinking maybe the U.K.
or maybe one of those bucket list places in Europe. So hey go down into the
comments and let us know where you think we should go. Do you think…you know what
city would you love to see us do a travel vlog on? And just remember that
the Tuesday videos are usually lifestyle and travel and fun stuff and then of
course on Fridays I’m doing beauty and fashion. And this Friday I’m gonna talk
about some hair care. Hey you know if you like what you’re seeing and you’re not a
subscriber we’d love you to subscribe to us. Just click below and become a
subscriber and also click on the bell – and then you’re gonna be notified of
when the videos come out. And we would really love you to tag along on our
little vacations and journeys. You know…this world and life…it’s like a
banquet. Go…you know…go out and taste it and explore and tag along with us and some
of these amazing beautiful cities. Until next time keep on looking at this
beautiful planet that we have…find your next destination and keep it awesome.
Keep it awesome.

  11. I've only ever been to Vancouver and Victoria and loved it. You're government is so much more sensible than ours. I think you should go visit Florence. Or come to San Diego and visit me! Sending hugs!

  12. I was born in Toronto, and now I live 20 minutes from Niagara Falls! It's a beautiful place to live! You did a lovely job on the vlog. It makes me want to visit Toronto!! My grandmother visited Paris many times during her retirement years. It was her favourite place to go. She also loved London, England. She loved the history and all the beautiful buildings. She always said to me, You must take a trip to Paris at least once in your life. I once asked her why she didn't ever go to Italy, and she said she would have liked to, but there was just so much she wanted to see and do in Paris, that she never got there. It really was her favourite! So, I would definitely suggest Paris as a travel destination to consider! Even my Dad took a trip there, a few years ago, and he absolutely loved it as well! He said it was everything you think it's going to be, and more! Have I convinced you?????? : )

  13. Thank you Heather and Bill! You two are a beautiful couple!! It was great seeing this video of Tronto! Several years ago our three children paid for my husband and I to spend four days in Tronto and see the Phantom of the Opera, live on stage!! It was for our 25th Anniversary!! Thank you so much for another awesome video!!

  16. Beautiful city! I've always wanted to see Ireland after watching "The Quiet Man" with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. Bill, Heather is right….NO BARREL 🙂 Mary Lou

  17. I can't wait to see Niagra on the Lake with you! It's not too far from me and I've never been there! ❤

  18. My wife and i went to whistler in 2009 and it was gorgeous and the food there was fantastic and the friendliness of the people and service were quite awesome!! Great video too.

  19. Another great video! I've visited Canada quite a few times, Nova Scotia to Victoria (my favorite) and have seen most of the southern part of Canada, but I've never been to Toronto. If you go to the UK I recommend Edinburgh a beautiful historic city with lots to do. Speaking of beautiful, I love your blouse. You and Bill are such a cute couple.

  20. I enjoyed this so much. Makes me homesick for Toronto. I live in Calgary now, which is also a beautiful city. Maybe you two want to check it out??? I also just came back from a trip to Spain and Portugal where I checked out your weekly blogs,.Guess what. The prices of your merchandise are in euros!

  21. Hi Heather and Bill,
Exciting news you guys are going to be doing some traveling! I live about an hour away from The American Falls. To me the Canadian side of Niagara Falls is more beautiful. What I was most surprised about The Falls besides it's beauty is the roar of the water going over The Falls. Another thing is how close you can get to the brink. You are literally about four feet away! That was so cute when you showed your daughter's dog. My first thought was you guys had gotten another dog. Do they get to visit and play together often? Much love and happiness from Teresa

  22. I really enjoyed seeing Toronto through your eyes. Coming from Vancouver, BC myself, I know that Canada is a beautiful country. Now, for your upcoming trip, I have some thoughts. In 2017 we had the pleasure of visiting Romania. What a beautiful country & the people were so awesome! The exchange rate was incredible, the least expensive part of our trip. I will say that Spain was my favorite county. We visited Madrid & Barcelona. We did 2 wine tours there & a dinner with flamingo dancers. Spain is a very clean country and very green. Paris was my least favorite place, just so big & to me seemed so “grey”. Yes, the Eiffel Tower was amazing & the Louvre was gigantic, but so, so much walking! It was very expensive & everywhere you go people are smoking. Now, if you go to the UK, please don’t just do London, it’s another large, congested city. Go to York, Edinburgh, or over to Cardiff. It’s so beautiful in the outlying countryside. I hope this gives you some ideas for your upcoming trip. We will all look forward to “armchair travel” with you! (PS- wherever you go try to spend more than 3 days in a city, as 3 days are not enough & you are running from here to there to try to see it all. We spent 10 days in Romania (Cluj-Napoca) and saw so much & met so many wonderful people. We only did 3 days in all the other cities I mentioned (we only did London in the UK)& it just was such a push to try and see what we wanted.)
